NxEra Art Gallery invites all artists from around the world to apply for our special exhibition “Surface”, celebrating artistic voices of creativity
Surface is a curated group exhibition showcasing the diverse voices of contemporary artists from around the globe.
The selected works — spanning painting, photography, textile art, collage, and mixed media — explore themes of identity, migration, memory, and transformation. Together, they reflect the richness and complexity of creativity in contemporary contexts.
The exhibition will feature both a physical and an online component.
Both exhibition formats take place at the same physical venue in Manhattan, New York. Screen artists and wall artists share the same space, the same opening, the same audience.
While selected artworks will be displayed on-site at NxEra Art Gallery in Manhattan, New York, an expanded online showcase will feature additional works by the artists worldwide. These online pieces will also be screened on digital monitors within the exhibition space, bridging physical and digital audiences and expanding the platform for participation and visibility.
Submission Guidelines
Eligibility: Open to all artists worldwide.
Mediums: All 2D and 3D mediums accepted (painting, photography, sculpture, textile, etc.)
Theme: Open — but inspired by life itself: identity, transformation, the spoken, the unspoken, and the surface expression of inner transformation

All artists worldwide
Works in painting, photography, sculpture, textile, collage, and mixed media
Physical exhibition + digital exhibition (Artwork digitally projected inside the venue)
Opening reception, curated press coverage & digital visibility
Certificate of Participation acknowledging your valuable contribution to the exhibition at this renowned venue.
Unpacking and installation services for the event, ensuring your art is presented flawlessly.
Professional video and photos of the opening reception capture cherished memories of your collective's success.
No Application fee.
Participation Fees (Upon Selection)
These fees apply only to selected artworks.
In-Person Exhibition (Manhattan – New York)
Includes professional documentation, PR, and gallery promotion.

• 2 artworks → $1,700
Online Only (Digital Showcase at the Gallery)
Your artwork will be displayed on screen inside our Manhattan gallery space during the physical exhibition. Visitors at the venue will see your work, and also promoted on all Nxera platforms.
1 artwork → $90
2 artworks → $170
All selected artists will be featured on NxEra Art Gallery’s official website and social media channels before and during the exhibition.
Selected works will also be promoted through targeted campaigns to reach collectors, curators, and art lovers worldwide.
Venue and Logistics
The gallery address, artwork delivery options, and technical details will be shared with participating artists after the registration process is complete.

At NxEra Art Gallery, we deeply value the creativity and effort of every applicant. That’s why all submitted works — whether selected for the physical show or not — will be featured in a curated digital exhibition on our official website.
How to Apply:

Sales and Promotion:
Any artwork sold during the event will yield a 70% commission for the artist and 30% for the gallery.
Your artwork will be prominently featured on our Instagram feed and stories, introducing you and your masterpieces to collectors, art buyers, galleries, interior designers, art fairs, and publishers.
